and the Middle East. Trained and qualified as a civil engineer, Barbara also holds a masters degree in Development
Studies. Her work has included project design and supervision as well as policy and strategy development at national
and regional level, and research/ policy analysis for international development agencies. Barbara is a freelance consultant and offers a range of consultancy services including: Barbara also works part time at the University of Leeds as a Senior Lecturer in International
